spare tire plate?? creative ideas for those without spare tires on the back.

Wondering if anyone has seen any thing like custom cut plates to go there the spare tire carier would go? I took mine off and was thinking of a plate maybe with a Jeep cutout that would incorporate my license plate on it too...

Im sure two of the holes line up with a plates holes. But not 100%, if not fill the old holes, drill and tap new ones and your good to go

And I love the color of your yj

i was thinking more along the lines of a plate that would look good on there and my plate could be in the middle. just to kinda tie it all together so its not just a plate sitting in the gate...

thanks!! its growing on me

I was thinking a custom Fuel can mount using those holes that no longer hold the spare anymore...

say 2 Jerry cans with a sticker that says "Go Ahead, Hit Me"....

I just like how clean it looks. I was thinking along the lines of having a plate that's laser cut out Jeep on top and wrangler underneath and my plate would mount in the middle. Or maybe say something more custom.

Maybe another idea I could put my license plate on it and make mounts for a mini shovel and ax so they would sit sideways on the gate.

Options options. Loving the input guys... gets me thinking.

I'm going to use mine to house two jerry cans. Shouldn't be too hard to build a mount for that.
