Do keep rattling! Everytime you post something it gives me more grounds for what to read up on so that I'm not completely ignorant of my ride!

I must have been looking in the wrong area as the cheapest I found was over 600. Sounds like you're looking in the right place to find a good lift. A SOA kit puts the spring pack above your axle instead of below it(stock setup) effectively giving you more lift. There are more benefits but I am unsure of them all as I have coils.

Just bought a True Hi9 rear and a D44 front, both with ARB's and 4.88 gears!! Check out the build!

All of this talk of wheels and tires and I have yet to address with myself the issue that I do not have a jack or a tire iron! Eek! I think I'll check around on craigslist and maybe post a wanted listing, any car I've ever owned each had a different jack, are there specific jacks per vehicle model?

Our YJ's used a scissors jack that cranks up. Located on the right front fender well inside the engine compartment (stock location).

Sounds like you're on the right track.

TJ's use a hydraulic jack. It really doesn't matter what type of jack you use as long as it can lift your tire off the ground.

2.5" RC suspension lift. I've heard nothing from good from it. Costs about $450 if you install it yourself, which isn't hard but can be a pain in the batootoo with the bolts.

Fixed it for you. I am sure you meant "nothing but good". Also if you do it yourself the day you order your lift pick up cans of PB Blaster and spray every bolt you need to remove every day twice a day till the lift arrives in the mail so it will be easy to remove.
