step bars

im really new to jeeps and just cars in general but i got my jeep and people keep telling me its hard to get in so i was thinking about gettin some bars you could step on to help get in. can anyone tell or link me a good place to find these and if i can install it myself ? my dad says they will hang low and i wont be able to drive over things but they dont sit that low do they ?

I would prefer rock sliders actually.... I can send you a link because I'm on my phone. But just google jeep wrangler rock sliders.... You will find plenty of them

Not sure actually.. but they have brackets that mount to the frame instead of the body like the ones you posted

Mine were welded on.. depends on what you get and what tools you have access too.. also what kind of jeep do you have? Mine were bolt ons but it would have required me to drill through the frame and relocate the gas and brake lines so they didn't get drilled through.. easier option for me was to have them welded on

I put these on a couple months ago. They are made by Bestop called High Rock slider steps and were relatively easy to install. I like them because the "up" position works fine for me, but the down position works better for the older folks and the full figured folk.

Down also makes for a nice little seat as well

And, as usual, shopped the crap outta them. Quadratec price matched someone from Amazon and got them for $328 shipped instead of $345 and $156.99 shipping
