Stock flares vs. "TJ Style" flares on a YJ

I am looking at the Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers with Sliders. They have two versions for the YJ. One is for "stock" flares and the other is for "TJ style" flares.

BOth for the YJ. Anybody know the difference?

Yep. The stock flares look similar to CJ flares, only squared for the rear wheel wells instead of rounded. The TJ style flares for a YJ look exactly like the flares on a TJ. They look pretty good except for the marker light at the front. They look better on a TJ than a YJ, imo.

To all who serve, Thank You.

My rear flares are TJ flares on my 93 YJ. Cut metal to open up flex room. TJ flares come further forward on the rear rocker area about 2" so, you are buying shorter sliders is my guess.

Crafty is right on the money. Aside from looking different, the TJ flares create a larger wheel opening. Many people put them on their YJs and trim their fenders to fit the flares. A good way to fit bigger tires and still keep it street legal.
