Stopped before I started.

Ok, yesterday I attempted to do do the RC 4" suspension lift on my YJ. Shackles didn't fit. The rear top bolt to the frame seems to be an unusual distance apart so had to find a new set of shackles. Hopefully they will work.
So we switched gears and attempted to replace the body mounts. On the first bolt, after spraying with PB Blaster for last 2 weeks, the nut broke free and is just spinning. So now what to do? Cut out interior body to then find a way to grab the nut or under body frame and get to it that way? What kind of nut does the bolt pass through? (This was on passenger middle bolt)
Also the rear passenger body mount bolt snapped off at the nut.

If you're going to replace the bolts anyway (as you should if you're doing the body mounts), I'd just take a sawzall and cut through the bolt and mount. Then pull up and down respectively to knock the bolt pieces out.

I think I get what your saying. But the nut has broken free from their weld due to rust.
I took 2 pics, one rear passenger where bolt is missing since broke off up inside body/ nut and other is under passenger seat mount.
Also this is not body lift instead just body mounts. Needs to be replaced bad!

Have a torch? Might need to heat and repeat on that.

you are going to have to cut holes in the floor from inside. It sucks but there is no other way. I made my acess holes with a cut off wheel on an angle grinder.
