test drive sunday, wheel weights wont stay on

ok so i just set up a test drive for a 93 yj, alot of new parts and in my price range, 200,000 on frame, 130,000 on motor, trans transfer case and clutch 20,000, 4x4 works, stock so it can become a project, only problem is that it has alunimun rims and says that the wheel weights wont stay on, any ideas why this is.

they could be so corroded that stick on weights won't stick. otherwise there's no reason for pound on weights to keep falling off. get some steel 15x8 or 10" wheels for 40 bux a pop.
