Things that happen to your jeep when your not home

Last year my wife was going to a horse clinic for the weekend and ask me if I would get some things at the store fore her while I was in town. While I was in town she hooked up to her 5th wheel horse trailer and started to pull around to the front of the house. I got a call from her (with her in a panic) yelling at me on the phone " I WRECKED MY TRAILER i WRECKED MY TRAILER". I asked her if she was hurt or if the kids were hurt or if the horses were hurt. She said No, so I told her I would take care of things when I got home and hung up. She call me back 4 minutes and said, But I hit your Jeep!!!!! I told her it was just metal and rubber and could be repaired. When I got home I saw that she cut the trailer too sharp and the trailer hit my bumper and turned the jeep 90 degrees I asked her didn't you feel or hear something when you hit it. She said she wasn't sure. My bumper hit here valve cap on here trailer and the tire went flat and she had a crease down the side of the trailer also wiped out her fender. I told her she would have to change her tire with the spare and had her jack up the trailer and loosen the lug nuts with a spanner wrench , while I beat the fender back so she could use it. when she had changed the tire and had all of the lug nuts started I told her I would finish it up. I went in my shop and got my impact wrench and tightened the bolts. she wanted to know why I didn't let her use the inpact to get the lug bolt off I told her it was a learning experience for her. She did dent my rear quarter a little but not bad. Didn't have to do any thing to my Jeep. Thought a little humor would be good here.

Way to make her break out the hand tools for the tire! Everyone's gotta learn a lesson. Most of the girls I know can't even change a tire. They call me. I would be happier to do it if I were single! My cordless impact helps...

My dad hit my Jeep once. I couldn't even tell!

She has learned to tow the trailer better. Only had to do 2 repairs on it since. She still uses my jeep and forgets to put gas in it. And does not tell me it is on empty!

My girlfriend can't drive a standard shift, so I don't have to worry about that. Only my dad can, but he took a few miles off my tires while pulling out a tree. At least he fills up the tank when he uses it, so I rarely buy gas.

My wife hit my truck with here car once because she sucks at driving. F%^#d her car up good. She ripped the front bumper cover half way off the car on my trailer hitch. I mean just the receiver too, I didn't have a hitch mounted. Why she was that far over in the driveway, I'll never understand.

Sitting on the couch drinking a beer at our beach house in OBX. I hear my jeep start up, and drive off! I jump up, and run to the deck and look down the trail and see my wife, daughter, and wife's gf haul off in my top less yj. About a half hour later, I hear my jeep again, and there they go right past the house, waving, jeep covered in mud and sand, inside and out, and just kept on goin, smiling ear to ear! Finally showed back up an hour or so later, because they were about ot of gas.

A magically appearing dent in the hood from a pellet or BB gun.

If I leave my garage door open, I find cat prints on my front seat and sometimes on the hood.

Not a problem for me, but my wife gets upset when she finds cat foot prints on her freshly detailed black Cadillac SRX.

No, I won't get rid of the cat. It's my neighbors cat and he comes over here to catch the mice that go after the chicken feed. Good Kitty!

Good Luck, L.M.

The neighborhood cats like to climb in mine and pee in it. They also were climbing under my MCs cover and scratching the paint on it, which really sucks since it is still less than a year old. I like animals and would not hurt one, but these cats... they test my limits.

My cat always sleeps in/on my jeep, it's blacked out except for the seats so it's nice and warm in the sun. But she always uses the soft top as a hammock, until summer time rolls around in Michigan and I can take the top off that is; then she'll settle for sleeping on the carpet.
