theres mine. only tip i can give you is spend your time on prep work. and dont expect awesomeness from a rattle can. you can pretty much expect to repaint at least once a year just because the paint wont hold up. good luck

ehhh i dont wanna be painting it every year, ha! i guess the paint it has now aint so bad, thinking about maybe just Bed Lining the bumpers and painting the diamond plating. Skip the body paint for now.

I just painted mine and I love it. It looks good. As long as you have good prep habbits. And what's half a day and 30 bucks once a year? I spend more then that on my pick up truck in half a year just to wax it. The main thing is that its all in what you want.

There's a pic of my hard top. I just have it bolted up to my scrap body for easy painting.

I'm about to do mine too. Same flat black paintjob.

There was a sticky a few months ago about the best way to paint a Jeep. It gives a lot of tips that are pretty priceless. I know the best thing you can do is prep, prep, prep. Spend time masking everything off. Make sure your humidity and temp are good. Buy a cheap HLVP spray gun with an inline filter and a medium duty or better compressor. I'm using Summit Racing's flat hot rod black (2 part) that is, from what I've seen on other vehicles, a nice finish that holds up to abuse. I'm not going to put a shiny clear coat on it, just two coats and a finish coat of sealer.

I got the grill ( cj7) and hood ( cj5) for $80
had to make a new front mount for grill ( about an inch or so forword of yj one) and built flat fenders while going thru chemo and radiation treatment for colon cancer a couple of years ago.
So fenders were a hurry up before I die kinda job

Good news tho is......

I didnt die! LOL
