Tire help

So im needing new tires soon... any low priced meaty looking tires?I was thinking the BFGoodrich TA KOs but they're kind of expensive. I really don't wanna go larger than 30.

And also i've seen jeeps around here with they're wheels sticking out of the wheel well about 2-3 inches.. I really like the way that looks how do they do that? Is it the rims? Wheel spacers? Any information would be helpful.

Also I've seen some tire sizes that are like 275/15/10... what's the equivalent of 30 inch tires in that measurement?

That would be a 13.4 in tire on a 10in rim. Try looking for a 265/75/ R15 that just a bit over 30in

I run 265/75/r15 with no lift. I like them they do rub in thr rear when flexing off road but its just the flaires, almost got the flairs ground down to where they don't rub. I will post pics after I get home. Here's a pic from b4 I freed up my rear springs the bushings froze & I got 2 inches of lift by replacing them

30" is kinda small, but if you plan on wheeling, go bigger. Otherwise, stick with AT tires. As for the tires sticking out, can be both on the tire and or wheel spacers

Meh.. Tires for a 15in rim are still common place under 35's and he didn't mention a interest in changing rims.

Well I have 16 inch rims, I believe they are the stock TJ rims

Attachment 127556

Its an old picture but that's what I have, I don't plan on lifting any time soon. So how would I go about somewhat sticking the wheels out of the wheel well. Would 4 wheel spacers work? There are some American racing wheels on Craigslist I like that I might get would those do it? I guess I'm kind of confused

Those are 15x8 stock TJ canyon wheels. Only TJ/LJ to come stock with a 16in wheel was the Rubicon to which they got 16x8 moab's

No.. With the exception of the 16x8 inch Moabs that only came on the 2003-2006 TJ/LJ Rubicons all TJ's and LJ's got 15x7 or 15x8 inch wheels. 16x7 inch wheels were a option on 98 ZJ's limiteds and XJ limiteds in I believe 99-01
