Tire Size

Got 5 new 17x9 rims for my 94 YJ and am getting a 3" lift put on. What is the best size/ brand for mostly street use. After all, it is the wife's Jeep. I do not want it to be a mud tire, but good for the rainy Summers of SE Louisiana. Thanks! Anyone have pics to share as well so I can see what you are describing would be great.

Most A/Ts do pretty good down here, but it's all in what engine and what gears, you should be able to clear 33"s if your geared right for it to run right and not Drink gas.
A 9" rim should have about 10" to 12" tire, 255 to 305 max.

I would be running these if mine were a daily driver. Hankook Dynapro RF10 ATM; either 31" or 32" with a 3" lift would be my pref. I have a set on my truck.

How big of a tire where you thinking of using?

Tires - WildPeak A/T - Falken Tire

I run this brand on my Ford Expedition and love them. They ride well have great street handling. Also they have great tred depth.

I wanted to do a 32" tire and and abt 10 to 10.5 wide. Maybe a 33 if I have to. What would I look for? 265/70/17?

265/70-17 is a 31" 285/70-17 is a 33", so I guess you would need a 275/70-17 or a 265/75-17 for the slightly narrower width you want.
