Tire Time

I need your help to pick out a set of tires next week please. I'm putting a 4" Rough Country lift on this weekend then replacing my wore out Mickey Thompson MTZ radials (31x10.5 15). I like the aggressive look of M/T but don't like how fast they wear out. They are great in snow, mud, dry pavement and give a good smooth ride. Can anyone recommend a better off road/on road tire that lasts more than 8000 miles? BTW, even as wore as they are I can do 70 mph by the speedometer on the interstate and still drive one-handed. Thanks.

I got a set of 33x12.50 Goodyear Wrangler mtrs with kevlar and so far they are wearing pretty well. And they're not super soft so the road doesn't chew them up as bad.

I love these tires. Hankook MT RT03. I've got 40k on them and they aren't halfway through the tread. Next fall I want to get 31's or 32's (these are 30's - got them before the lift) and I'll be getting these again.

I paid around $900 for 5 mounted balanced etc. from a local tire store (Towne Fair Tire) that beat "any internet price". They are great off road, in the sand, and especially important for me in the snowy tundra, excellent in the snow.
