tires and drive train question

88 Sahara w/4.2 6cyl, im guessing 4in lift, whats the biggest tire size the drive train can handle? My goal is to some day have 10in lift w/44 swampers (but im assuming drive train will need mass reinforcement for that ) help much appreciated cuz im new to jeeps.

On the stock D35 I wouldn't go any larger than 33's. And they should fit nicely with a 4" lift.

right on, and a jeep with 10" lift and 44's is either gonna be in the top truck challenge with a really trick coil suspension, or nothin but a mud truck. you will need at least small block v-8 to push that, and at least dana 60 MINIMUM, most guys do much more to run what you're talking about. either way, welcome, and good luck
