Tires seem to be a big issue...

Can I fit 33" tires on my factory aluminum wheels or do I need wider ones?

They will fit on the wheels, but not on the jeep without making some mods.

I have a 4" lift for it, I'm just waiting until I have a good clear weekend to do it.

do you have 7" or 8" wheels? if 7" then maybe a 9.5" or 10.5" tire would suit you better. if you have 8" wheels than you can easily mount up and run up through 12.5" tires. from a tj person's standpoint the issue with 12.5" wide tires on the stock wheels is more a problem with backspacing and not width - they just will rub without some version of a hub spacer. again, this is a tj guy's view - not sure how it'll affect the yj. make sure you put up some pics when you have it all together

15x7 or 8 as I recall. Sometimes they marked what they are, on the inside or back of the rim.

Well I'm hoping for 8 wide as I'm trying not to spend the last of my cash on tires AND rims.

That wheel is an American Eagle Model 054 5 lug...

It has been discontinued for a while. It came in various widths and backspacing. Just go get it measured at any competent wheel shop.
