TJ ? 4 YJ guys

My brother has a 00 tj he put a 3 inch 4wd.com lift on it,now the steering is jacked up!! When you turn it, it's real jerky and gos from one side of the road to the other. I put a aftermarket dual stabellizer on it and it was no help, some one said i would need a adjustable trac bar?? Any help would be good if not I'll go upstairs and ask the TJ guys thanks!!!

if you put a drop pit arm on there hen yes the adj track bar will help. after te lift did you check your steering? drag link ends ok? tie rod ends ok? if they are bad they would cause this. and check to make sure the links are straight. along with the axle centered under he jeep.

Drop pitman arm with a 4 in lift is almost a necessity. Sometimes you can get away with out it, but it really does help with steering issues. Did you lift come with a track bar relocation kit? If not, give them a call and see if they will ship you one. If that does not do it maybe a new trackbar is the answer. I dont know exactly what years but a few companys offer an adjustable track bar to help dial in the steering. Get under the front end and have someone cycle the steering from stop to stop to see what the obstruction is. If you have not had it aligned after the pitman swap is done take it to a shop to see if that is an issue.
