Tonneau Cover Help

I recently got a Tonneau cover and cant figure out what I am missing. I have an 88YJ 2.5L. It came with hardtop only. Do I need to get an entire soft top frame, or do they sell just the tailgate/side tracks? Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

go to www.bestop.com. They sell soft top parts online. OR, You can get an 800 number and talk to one of their techs.

you need the side tracks "tub rail" and rear "tailgate bar" + rear clips.

You may want to check online places to get used parts - otherwise, the hardware to mount your tonneau cover may rival a used entire soft top.

FWIW, with a little planning you could use marine snaps to attach the cover to the tub when the hard top is off, if you don't want to get all that hardware.

Hey Geoff,
Beware of people pulling up beside you in blue crew cab Silverado's on highway 90! Yeah that was me.

I have a complete set of the tub rails if you need them. I also have a factory soft top frame and I think a best top frame, that I don't plan on using. The factory soft top frame needs a couple of end pieces that you can get at places like quadratec, and the best top frame needs two little clips that bolt on at the windshield. I don't plan on using them because if I ever do go to a soft top, I'll buy the whole thing from Best top. The only thing that I am keeping would be the rail that goes across the top of the windshield. I also have a windjammer that goes behind the front seats and and ties to the roll bar.

Sorry For wierding you out on the road today, I just wanted to say hi when I saw that it was you.

Later,
Bill
