Tow Hitch issues

I'm working on getting my Jeep set up to move my boat around my property and fit it in and out of a tight space. This was the inspiration for the jeep. Although now I drive the jeep more than my truck because it's way more fun .The jeep is going to be landlocked for a few months out of the year. My thought is to back the jeep in so I can view the boat by looking straight ahead while in reverse. The jeep is much slimmer than boat. This will require a front mounted tow hitch. 2 problems. I have after market, round bumpers. Second, the max tongue weight and tow weight is 350 and 3500. My boat is heavier than this. Now I realize that this is prob max capacity for my Jeep as well but please keep in mind that it will only be towing very short distances for very short periods of time. Also the trailer and boat will be detached from jeep while in storage. Any thoughts on where I could find a heavier duty front mounted hitch? I am willing to remove my front bumper if need be but all hitches I have found mount either to the square, stock bumper or the bumper and frame combo. But no matter what, the square bumper is involved in the mounting process.... from what I have seen. And then there is that weight thing. Boat and trailer are 4700 lbs. 91 wrangler yj. I am willing to install the hitch on rear if that is the only solution. Thanks in advance for the replies!

You should be able to find a reese hitch wide enough to weld to the frame up front, you would have to take the bumper off though. Or if you cant find one you can get a used one and cut it up and fab up your own hitch.

many farm supply stores sell just the square receiver or you could build your own out of 3/16 wall,2 1/2 inch square could weld and brace this to the round bumper..air shocks would allow it to handle more tongue weight

Could you mount a rear bumper that has a built in receiver on the front? Just a thought. Most trailer dealers sell and install receivers if you can't do it yourself.
