Trading doors?

There is a thread below here about trading doors from an 87 YJ with a hard top with the half doors and canvas uppers from an 88 YJ. Do any of you know if it will work?

I'd like full doors and he wants half doors. Is it doable and fair to both parties?

You can PM me or leave it here. Thanks!

He has a hardtop on an 87 YJ with rounded rear corner on the door, and I have a soft top on an 88 YJ with rounded rear corner on the door. I don't know of a reason they wouldn't fit and am hoping some of you experts can enlighten me.

it seems like it should be fine, but i can't remember for the life of me, i think there was one style door you couldn't switch with the other because of the top, it might have been the full door, and the soft top.
my opinion is they should switch, basically all body pieces from cj-7 to 95 yj are almost all interchangeable.
leave the top off and you won't have any problems

They should be interchangeable. The only reason they wouldn't be interchangeable is if you had softtop doors like mine with the squared off corners on my 94.
