Trans Skid Plate - I need one!

Hi all -

Haven't been here ina while, but I am moving forward with my chassis swap out. The body is off, the engine and tranny are out. Now is when I notice that the new chassis I am going to has NO trans skid plate! I checked with Ebay - none. I googled it - could only find aftermarket ones. I called the dealer - they have one in stock for 336.00. Anyone out there have a contact for a trans skid plate for a 1992 Wrangler, YJ?

I was also just trying to find a replacement, with no luck. You could always get one of the aftermarket tuck skids, and thin shim it down to sit the drivetrain more in the stock position. I am going to weld my original rotted one.

I have an 89 with a 4.2 and I just got a really good original used one (no rust) with the bolts and new trans. bolt for 120.00 from J&W Auto Wreckers, CA. JWJeep.com or 800-924-9732. I've gotten many parts from them with no problems.
