Transfer Case Swap

Can anyone tell me....

How hard is this to do by yourself?

How long would it take?

Any special tools required?

Any advise is appreciated, I gotta get er' done and I'm trying to save myself $400+. At least that's what two garages are trying to charge. I figure I done a decent amount of repairs I may be up for this one.

ya, not hard job, if you can turn a wrench you can do it. nothing special. a couple tight spots where the bolt is hard to get to, ratchet wrenches are nice.

i say take it on, if you got any probs, we'll help ya out.

I think I am going to give it a whirl and replace it! It'll take me two weeks to get a rebuilt one due to finances, but when I get it in I'll let you guy's know how it goes.

Thanks!

I just replaced mine and it was easy. Me and a buddy did it in about 4 hours.
