Turbo 2.5L 4cyl

Hey guys. Not sure if any of you have tried this or not, but my YJ is about to receive a turbo. It's a 2.5L and i'm sick of running in fourth gear everywhere. I'm pretty sure i've got everything sorted out, but do any of you know if I need to: A.) change to bigger injectors or B.) make any computer changes? I'm not going to be running much boost, but with the 60-80hp gain from the turbo and a few other little mods, I think the 4 angry squirrels might have a fighting chance.

I'm using the turbo off of a Ford Probe. Cost will probably be a little under $400. That's including the junkyard turbo. It's really a pretty simple deal.

if you can properly set up a turbo on your jeep for under $400, that will be extremely impressive.
have you ever done anything like this before? just curious, cause if you have, you will know its gona cost you more then $400 even with a junk yard turbo. tuning alone is going to be costly, not to mention any fabrication that needs to be done, the upgrades you will need to make to support the extra power levels(the standard ax5 transmission will most likely not last.) adding forced induction to an engine is no simple task even with a kit designed for that engine. building your own is another level all together.

A. You'll most likely need new injectors, and probably a fuel pump.
You also need all the pluming, braketry, you'll need to tune the computer since its gunna freak out it'll think its running rich. Tuning will probably cost atleast $200 by itself.

Like others said if you can do it for under $400, then I'll do it too, but I'm not see'n it. Post pictures though!

Yea it can be done but alot of work is ahead. More fuel is a must for a turbo to run right.
