Well, I Bought Another One...

Well I picked up another yj. (My 4th one) for $500 off cl. I think it is a pretty good deal, it runs just needs a battery and the real output shaft sleeve. I might just part it out. Haven't decided yet, the frame is pretty much shot and it has a 3 inch body lift.

I would love to undress... err, take so many parts off of that right now

Really though, the rust free hood, fenders, grill, windshield with the ugly steal on it. Maybe not the windshield then. I have a spare yj that looks way worse than that, every time I walk over to it and steal a bolt off of it, caching! Just saved a dollar.

And you know you're getting a little too far in when you buy a jeep just to part it out. I'm about to do that to my spare yj after I take the tub off of it this week. I'm about to make money off of it, after I got everything I needed from it.

So what does the tub look like?

I bought a working jeep with a bad frame and body, along with a dead jeep with a good body, and a separate "like new" frame for 1k. Lotta work but basically a yj for 1k.

edit:

Just re-read... 3 inch body lift? Ok I don't have much hope for the tub now, I'd like to see a pic from the rear with the tank showing lol.

Yeah the body is pretty much toast, the drivers door doesn't even close anymore because the body is so tweaked out. This is my 3rd jeep ove bought just to part out/flip, I think its so fun to do.
