I have the same 2.5" lift, 1" shackles and 33's, but with 6" pocket flares. I don't think the tires looked stuffed under there at all. I like the way it looks. Please post pics after the body lift......

Did a day run with the Desert Wranglers Henderson, NV. 20 local JEEPS in all trailing the desert to a couple of old mining ghost towns north of Las Vegas. Nice and sunny but a cold north wind. Great trails never had to lock in the fornt axle but first long ride in the dirt had a great time and got to meet a lot of nice folks.

Started my 2.5" suspension lift with rancho rs-5000 shocks (got the rear done so far), bought a water pump and getting ready to order my driver side floor pan. Every time I do anything to my YJ, I just sit back, look at it and freakin love the hell out of it!

Man cool pics I'm really jealous. Here in Florida we just got swamps.

The state of Nevada, Utah, Arizona and SoCal are filled with old abandoned or semi maintained roads to nowhere. So we have a lot of trailing available and almost all have no water for miles. Paradise for wheeling and no humidity or road salt so no rusty Jeeps unless they are imported. We are lucky here. We did over 50 miles in the dirt no traffic except wild horses and some Burros.

worked on my 91's oil pressure gauge this week..was pegging out when running..sending unit looked like hell.it was so rusty and pitted that I decided to change it and see if that was the problem..no change,so I pulled the instrument cluster and cleaned all the connections on the back of the gauge..works perfect now..wife wants to put her hardtop on in the next few days and if I can talk myself into it,I might start building a rear bumper for the 91 so I can pull a trailer with it

Thanks. I am gonna paint them desert tan. I dig the look of rims that already look muddy. The white is growing on me though.

In my build thread. Not to many really. I love it though. I am just super stoked on how well they fit with such a small amout of lift.

Installed the brake booster/master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, ECM, air gleaner box and worked on getting the interior and under hood wire looms sorted out. Also cleaned the gear box up and got it painted. Will get it back on hopefully tonight. May be able to finally get it fired up some time soon.

Just bought my YJ Earlier this week.

Replaced the stereo with a Kenwood system. Ordered Kicker 4x6 to replace the crappy dash speakers. They came in but it's too dang cold to do much. Gonna save them for this spring.

Installed a 400 Watt Amp under the driver's seat. Sound Bar will be in Fri.

Rear sway bar mount is broke at the Bolt. Neighbor is a welder so he's gonna weld another plate to it then drill it out so I can properly mount my Sway Bar.

Chain in TC is making noise. Ordered a Master rebuild kit.

Ran all new wiring for the Audio

Mounted new mirrors

Installed Grab handles for the wife (she's 5'4" and has issues getting in lol)

Prepping to order a new softtop.

Pulled out center console in preparation for the new one coming in.

That's it for now

Ok so upon further research that's a track bar.....and I removed it .

Now just gotta have the neighbor weld the U shaped stopper back on the axle since they monkey rigged it.
