Is that the direct bolt on one? Looks like it is. Ive been looking at it but dont know if its worth it. If it is the bolt on one what do you think about it?

I did and I counted 3.07

Front wheel not moving

I raised front and rear wheel off of the ground, both drive shafts were turning in 4wd modes but only rear wheel was moving, front wheel was not. Someone knows WHY?

If someone modified the cad or put a solid axle shaft in then your drivetrain will spin back into the transfer case, it won't be powered though

Why would you? the unit bearings on the yj are a very low resistance bearing and don't cost much in the way of fuel economy.. Many people will either modify the CAD or throw in a solid shaft so they don't have to worry if the vacuum is going to fail on them. Most XJs, all TJs and almost every other Jeep with a d30 has no way of disconnecting so the drive train will always spin back up into the t case, its not hurting anything, and you'll know for certain that 4wd will work every time

Yeah, if you plan on getting bigger tires, better do a regear. I'm wanting to go to 4.88 but don't have the money.

Let me daughter drive it to pick up a friend - who happens to be a boy - and bring him back to the house.

The Jeep survived ............and so did the boy!

Added another YJ to the fold. My younger son got this yesterday...... (he wants to do a mild build with an 8.8 rear with 4.10's and XJ front on 32" or 33" meats)

And a couple months ago my older son got this original Sahara in 98% virgin status..... (he wants to restore the rest of it to 100% original condition)

Add that to my previous one......

Yeah, that's how I usually drive too. It throws people off when I say it. But how would you react if a man told you he has a bikini top? Only in a jeep.

A YJ fam. That's what I like to see. Although, one day I want to buy a YJ and put a CJ7 front end on it.
