Tightened up my E-Brake. Now I can park in my driveway and not worry about it rolling .

Finally figured out why it was choking when accelerating. Bad vacuum hose to the distributor. Also changed the cap and rotor. Runs great now.

What I did to my YJ today

Finished the install of a 4" Rough Country Lift. Still waiting on brake lines and slip yoke eliminator and driveshaft. But it is looking real good can't wait to drive it a little and do a shakedown before I go wheeling.

Once my credit builder goes through getting a new carb, valve cover to stop the oil leak, 2inch RC lift and maybe a winch, front and rear bumper

Replaced my exhaust manifold

Pulled off my old exhaust manifold and took off its heat shield, and to my surprise, 5 large cracks, one that even goes all the way around the manifold! I dont get tired on my way to work anymore and it seems to have more pep!

it is the bolt on one, from rugged ridge. I ordered this and bumperettes. They sent me 2 brush guards instead, one for a yj and one for a tj. I opened the box that was labeled for the yj and nothing fit right. i had to mix and match the brackets and tubes to get it to fit. It worked out well since i had the 2 versions. if I only got the box that was labeled with the parts for my yj i would have been screwed. Anyways I love it the way it is.

Pulling a yj motor is pretty easy, if you've got hand tools and a cherry picker it won't be too hard to replace.. Now it might cost ya a pretty nickel in parts..

Got it back from getting all new brake lines done and the radiator decided to spring a leak, so I spent the evening changing it out. Actually an easy job.

Hydrolocked? Big deal. Pull all the plugs, get all the crap out by using the starter, put the plugs back in and give it a shot. Might be ok. Might not. At least try first.

Tried...bottom end is ceased, drained the water and found a quart or two of coolant, motor will not turn AT ALL! But today I ordered another 4.0, and I'll have it in less than a week!
