Loosened all of my roll bar bolts and sprayed them with PB Blaster hoping for a swap to a family bar. Just gotta hear from the guy. Next will be to replace them all with hex head bolts and toss the torqx bolts in the trash!

Washed it today. Getting bored of the constantly dirty feeling, and I don't wheel it often enough to justify keeping it clean.

In the fourteen months I've owned mine, it has only been washed about four times. Maybe less.

Installed new hood locks and rubber grommets under the hood, they were in bad shape.

MikeYJ, I'd be interested to know how much weight this adds to your rig. Of course it will depend on how thick you lay it on... but I'm looking at options to line the inside, and I've always been told Herculiner is really heavy, but nobody can give me numbers.

What did I do to my yj you ask ? I BOUGHT one ! I am picking it up tomorrow. I used to have a 91 yj and sold it back in 97 when i found out I was going to be a father, but now that my kids are 13 & 14, time to get another one. I am picking up my 95 tomorrow and already my 14 year old daughter wants it, so I am going to save it for her and in the mean time, make it bad ass !

What I did to my YJ today

I finally got life to breathe back in her after 4 years. Replaced the crank 4 years ago. Then she sat all this time. Currently she purrs like a Tiger.. lol. I also put the 2nd coat of rhino-liner in the tub.

Really, cool, bro. SO sorry to hear that you had to sell your first one. NEVER get rid of this one!

Once again I have found that summer temperatures really work well with MPGs. I made roughly 18 gallons last 262 miles!

Since the OEM horn was dead when I bought my Jeep I replaced it with one from AutoZone and it was a POS, damn thing couldn't scare a butterfly! So after lunch today I swung by the local junkyard and picked up a horn off of a wrecked '07 Tahoe complete with the 2-wire connector for all of $15.00.

When I got back to work it took a few minutes to wire it in but I now have a horn that will work when I hit the button. Man I am glad of that, I hate not having a working horn!

Pulled the motor out yesterday. Waiting for some cooler weather over the weekend to stick the "new" one in.

Horns are supposed to work? I thought that's what the front bumper was for?

Just missing my YJ today.

Parts are all messed up because of the 4th being mid-week. I GOTTA get her on her paws by the 13th, I have an adopt-a-trail run to supervise!!!
