Did a shakedown run up in the mountains this weekend. New poly spring bushings =

New power steering leak = figures.....

Also killed my battery by leaving the heater fan on while eating dinner. Then I learned some stuff about alternators from a friend helping me fix the wire I roached after getting a jump and trying to drive it back to the campsite.

Here are the LEDs I put in. I used Aluminum diamond plate as well as aluminum rivets to stop rust from forming. Got the clear LEDs that turn red. They are bright as hell. I want to get this thing back on the road soo bad.

You mean we can still do that!???

Pep Boys... I'll have to go look at ours, not sure they stock them. Around here it's all ricer car upgrade parts.

This is a BIG chunk of change, but may need to be in my future soon.

Yeah, they have them at Pep Boys, but they cost more than online. I thought I was going to have my Jeep back on the road sooner so I paid the extra cash for them. I am very happy with what they are though. They are 100% waterproof and work perfect.

Took her out to Devils Playground to watch the ECORS race with my oldest son. Then took advantage of the open ride time! Lot of fun, not a huge trail system, but certain areas offered much-welcomed technical challenges

I started another step in the transformation

Finally got the nasty old white rims off of it and got some black to blend with the rest of the Jeep. Also started working on painting the Beast. Let me know what you think.

What axles are you running for the tires to stick out so far? Or is that an optical illusion mixed with some massive backspacing on the rims?

I like the tactical black.

I am running a DANA 30 in front and a DANA 35 in the rear the lip on the rims is a good size and the tires are 35x12.50R15 so I think that may be why. I had to put the over fenders on because MT law is if it sticks out two inches from the fender they have to be covered. That was an option as well as mudflaps so I went this route.

How thick are those over fenders? Look to be about 6" to 8"???

The 2" law is here in CA as well.

Ok, so, I got my lights from harbor freight and wired them directly to the battery.....no power to the lights. I'm confused. Is there something I'm missing? I got the same lights as you.

Told ya it was a stupid question. So somewhere in the wire, it's lost connectivity. I assume you have a test light...

Test the near side of the inline fuse connection. Be sure it has power and then test just past the inline fuse. I've had the soldering come loose on the connections.
