What I did to my YJ today

So after my long list of things to do for my jeep, I finally got the sway bar disconnects installed. I haven't tested them but I have noticed the appearance to be much different. For some odd reason I feel like I can take on the world. I am stock, though I run on 31" tires so it makes me wonder. hmmm.... Anywho...I will be trying to find the bushings for the JKs telescopic tracbar I've acquired to install in the next few days. I have pictures just need to extract them from my phone.

Info on the dicos, it was a pain in the behind to remove them!! That's all I can say about that. Installation was a cinch and I cannot wait to go "flexing" soon.

As I mentioned before I have cleaned the carb and valve cover, they were covered in heavy grease and grime and oil and dirt and basically everything under the sun. I'll post pics tomorrow. I'm getting summoned by the woman to come to bed. It's 0230am. hmmm.... ;-)

Same thing happen to me a few months back I touched the brakes and it almost ripped the steering wheel out of my hand!
My driver side partially seized a couple days ago and I drove 20 miles to get home down the highway anyway. It was smoking, glowing orange, and then caught fire when I got home. It was awesome! I ran for the garden hose and cooled it off. Did one new caliper, New power slot rotors, and new pads last night.

I will post pictures later, but today I removed the bumpers, sanded, primed and painted them with bed liner. Taped off the plastic fenders, sanded them, primed them and painted them with bumper and trim paint. Detailed the engine compartment (yeah, I know... its a Jeep. But I want it to be clean at least once while I have it so I can take pretty pictures.)
On my way to pick up a Safari top, grab handles and maybe an alarm today. Left the top off last night and woke up three times thinking someone was stealing my Jeep.
