This sounds pretty easy. How is your ground? Did you make sure to sand the paint off the metal so you get good contact? If you have a good ground, and the hot coming off the battery is hooked directly to your light with no luck then what you have is defective. If it works then install your relay and finish wiring it.

mdaz75, touch the light leads directly to the battery terminal. If they flick on then it's your wiring. If nothing happens, then why do you keep getting the HF crap? The lens isn't even polished! I'd recommend investing some money and getting a set of KC Apollo 6" lights. 23 year warranty on all the components.

Yes the hood function is completely uninhibited, and yes, I know about the springs............they ride worse than they look. Saving a little for leafs, shocks, shackles, blah, blah blah.......

I did have the shocks attached, but not the sway bar. II couldn't get the links off, so I will fix that this weekend. I am currently using the stock shocks, I was told it was a 2.5" lift so I figured I could use them for a little. I did drive with the front lifted and not the rear, the weather made me cut out early and I was using my sister's shop cuz I can't work on my Jeep at my condo. I'm fixing to order a new ss and new brake lines. I should be able to finish the lift tomorrow, but I am wondering if I should take off the lift shackles and return to the stock ones.

Measured my lift today using the 9" and 18" measurements I found on another thread on this forum. Turns out I have a 4.25 inch lift. The po did a 4" and my shackles added the other .25. I wondered why the po dropped the transfer case.....
