Replaced thermostat and flushed radiator on my Heep. Powdercoated wheels, and side platings black. Cut up half doors to put in new speakers and in the overhead soundbar. Picked up a new bumper, need to weld up proper brackets so it fits and joints for D rings, then powdercoating at work! Doing the 15 to 20 gal tank "conversion" tomorrow :]

Painted my hardtop and installed my obligatory Jeep Corona Extra bottle opener to the rear of my Jeep. Now I'm repainting my windshield frame.

Now pull your sway bar and your jeep will feel weird for awhile lol. I'm running no trac bars and no sway bar, only thing I need to finally make it decently trail worthy is the 231 transfer case and SYE. Luckly I'm getting the 231 with SYE already installed tomorrow, and the drive shaft at a later date. Should be good to go after that

Nice, that will buff right out. Metal and stone is pretty unforgiving. Reminds me of some of the finger smashes I have done.

Yeah but that depends on your springs. You do that with stock springs and you will wreck as soon as you have to swerve for something. You do it with stiff lift springs though and you can hardly tell the difference.

Thats a nice mash up, wish I could find the pictures of my 2-door Cherokee accident.... 'twas a bad one when a couple of idiots were tandem drifting on a public road and I was driving to a local wheeling spot when they entered a curve too fast with me in front of them. I was going about 60mph at the time, swerved out of the way, went into a ditch and flipped the Jeep 6-8 times. Knocked out the first roll when my head hit the drivers side glass. These guys kept going but a sheriff vehicle was not too far behind me and witnessed the accident from afar, came to check me out first and I was gaining conscious when he got there. The sheriff called backup and they caught the kids. I crawled out of the Jeep with a broken back, left collar bone, right wrist, left elbow, and shattered 5 ribs. Hell, it was SMOKING from under the hood and I didnt want to be in there. Was in intensive care for about 2 weeks with some bad head trauma and the broken back issue.

Glad the interior roll cage held up to that bad of an accident, just wish my body didnt flop around in the drivers seat hitting everything around me, including multiple hits to the drivers side upper rollbar. If only I could find these pictures

Il give ya that, I'm running in 2" zone lift springs, and they are made by BDS lol

just pulled my front track bar , my rear track bar has been gone for months---i like it so far cant really tell any difference on the road but better on the trail test..

i do have the 4inch rc lift..

i just unbolted the track bar on the passenger side and tied it to the frame up and out of the way...now i just need that 4.6liter and a few odds and ends then a nasty paint job..--

Very Nice! Start stripping my tail gate and doors preping for paint tomorrow.. So Excited! Can't Wait! Ordered my SYE and CV drive shaft yesterday aloong with my new Tcase chain and shifter pads. Will get that put in in the next week or two... Never thought I would like building anything as much as motorcycles, but I have found something that I may even like more....
