went for a trip up bald mountain in dedham maine...lol...

after i made a mount for my hijack

BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!!

then i went "exploring", got pinned (couldn't turn around) and got muddy...

got all kinds of nice "leaf peepah" pics. while i was up there i watched the sunset. it was nice but lonley...

Bald Mountain, with an elevation of 1,261 feet, is located in Dedham, Maine between Phillips Lake and Green Lake. The mountain served as a downhill ski area (including a ski shop, warming hut, double chairlift and T-bar) from the late 1930s to 1976, when the mountain was closed. Today, the trail following the power lines is a steep and direct way to the top. Several additional trails were made during the mountain’s golden years, and many of them can still be explored. Some parts of the mountain are still traversable for downhill skiers, though it has become more popular for hikers, snowshoers and backcountry skiers. The main base lodge has been demolished and remnants of the snowmaking pipes and electrical conduits for lights can be found throughout the mountain. The double chair has been moved to Camden Snow Bowl, and the T-bar has also been removed. Several radio towers and buildings crowd the top. Much of the mountain is now owned by Prentiss & Carlisle, a forest management company that allows recreationists to still use the mountain as long as they leave the land how they found it, clean of trash and destruction.

she got fresh oil n filter today and I put my freshly painted (with high temp) front calipers on. It looks sweet with fire engine red calipers to match body paint. Grease all fittings.

After reading through different threads for a few days I checked for open recall items on my 1990 YJ last night & sent an email to a local dealer. They got back to me this morning and will be ordering the needed Parts tomorrow. Also went back to the locksmith to try to match up lock cylinders for both doors. Next on the list to tackle will be my snapped windshield hinge.

mb... That's a good lookin' jeep, if your looking for bed liner, check out "Monstaliner". It is actually cheaper than getting it sprayed, they have tons of colors, and has a long PRE-mixed shelf life...

Found out yesterday that one of my front axle u-joints is toast and one of the rear driveshaft u-joints is as well. Time for new Spicer u-joints all around! Now I just gotta find the $$ to do so! Damn, Just Empty Every Pocket huh?

Thats the exact setup i am doing. I bought 2.5 inch old man emu springs. I hope they sag a bit with the weight of my winch and tire carrier. If not its going to be making my 35s look small.

They better not sag from an extra 150lbs! Either way, I got 31's on mine. And I can still stuff them all the way into the wheel wells. I wont be going over 33 since I dont want them to rub when I am hitting the really tough trails. Who cares what they look like.

Dont cut the fenders You will destroy their structural integrity.

Don't get the smitty ones. The metal cloak ones are better and a full fender, no cutting at all
