front 60 is on stand now. time to start tearing it down and prepping for links. Was going to try and stay leafs but SOA is to tall and its way too much work for SUA. So gonna drop some coin on a barnes4wd 3 link kit and SAW 2.5 air shocks

Fitted some hard doors I scored off this forum. Pulled my rear seat and installed my tuffy lock box. Then pulled the front bumper, wire brushed and POR15'ed the front of the frame in prep of mounting my smittybilt bumper and winch plate.

Installed my master/slave assembly for the clutch. Took a whole half hour, not too bad.

I hate the look of Armour All on a dash, or anything that causes a shiny dash. Just means you get a windshield full of glare!

oh god did you try to brush on that container of plastic dip? you should have either bought the spray one or gotten a reducer and mixed in before painting.

Lots of stuff, cleaned up the wiring, installed my fuse panel, fixed a short, put the dash back together, vacuumed it out, and put the soft top back on. Time for cold season..

Well lets start by structuring your sentences, and using the proper words. This is an internet forum, clear and relatively proper communication is very relevant

Replaced the front shocks, have the rear shocks but ran out of light, they'll have to wait until Sunday. It's Shocktober, Monroe's offering buy 3 get 1 free through the end of the month.

What kind of recall work is done on a 1990 YJ ? Got to be something major or they wouldn't grandfather it in for 22 years.
Do tell...

After convincing myself that my exhaust leak was a failing manifold gasket, I finally got my ass out there this morning and prepared to do the job. But..........before I got started, I crawled underneath one more time to just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Good thing I did! It turns out that the connection between the manifold and exhaust pipe was as loose as the local bar slut. I tightened that baby up and VIOLA! All fixed, purrs like a kitten.

After measuring and remeasuring my lift, I am convinced I only have 2" total lift and 3/4" of that is shackles. The PO had removed a leaf from the springs and sag had deffinitely set in. Ordered a set of Old Man Emu 2.5" lift springs. Medium load for the back, heavy for the front. For those of you that follow this thread, I promise I will quit whining about my lift now.
