I realized that even though a gopro camera isn't in my immediate future, I still have a perfectly good HD recorder. So I took two old XM satellite radio mounts and fabbed them together to mount my recorder to my dash. The base is permanent but the rest is easily removed when not in use. It swivels as well.

Never trust my gas gauge. Always use the tipometer. I have ran out twice. Not fun. luckily one was at the end of my driveway.

At 1/4 tank = dead 'E' so I did the same...until my husband pulled all the wires from under the dash and removed all the useless wires jumped into one another. Suddenly my gauge reads correctly!

$40? What a steal!

I just went Jeepin in mine, possibly one last time before I tear it apart, put a rust free frame under it and a rust free tub.

Installed:

K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Intake Kit
BBK bored 62mm throttle body
MSD ignition coil
MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires
Performance cap and rotor

The intake kit, specifically the housing, ad to be manipulated some to get installed. Taking off the existing ignition coil was a b!/$) because of the rusted bolts and the one bolt is so close to the motor mount. Replaced the bolts with the new one.

Love the fenders. Did you bend the tubes yourself. Wish I had a tube bender. Would have done mine a while ago. Do you have a thread about your build?

Just bought my '88 YJ New Years and put a soft top on yesterday so I don't have to choose between freezing and waiting for Spring to drive it

Cut off the rotten rear part of my frame and welded in new frame rails.

I now have a stretched YJ frame.

Not today, but this weekend, found some righteous mud at Zeb in the Wildlife Refuge in NE Oklahoma. Also dropped my windshield and re-installed my cowl seal. Siliconed my windshield hinge bolts trying to stop a leak on both ends of the dash. Also installed my new Hi Lift Jack on the roll bar above the tail gate. Used the Quadratec mount brackets. Kind of expensive. Used 2 6" strips of velcro I got in the electronics section of WalMart to keep it from rattling. Worked like a charm!!

Beach-Bum and BRAVO TANGO- Thanks for the compliments you guys. Unfortunately, the bug bites hard and now I'm in the process of upgrading my axles and rebuilding my AX15. Then I'll throw some 33's on. Maybe that'll be it for a while...maybe haha

Joseb011- They're not the worst seats. They do ride a little rough though. PO actually put them in. I'm in the hunt for the stock high back seats.

Finally got around to removing my heavy old fan and putting in my electric fan. This also gave my the chance to clean some old mud and grass out of the radiator. I'm sure it will cool a lot more efficiently now.
