Got her re-titled - got that stupid "or" business taken off so now it's ONLY MY name on the title.
Then got her put on the same policy as my J-truck - amazingly, it only increased my monthly payments by $14!
In the process got her re-registered and licensed. While I was at the office, I had them check for me and decided to order personalized plates for both the YJ and J-truck (been wanting to do this for YEARS for my YJ).
"1989 YJ" and "1973FSJ"
(They said it'd take 6-8 Weeks for them to get officially approved though)

I like em! Keep an eye on the area around the welds for cracking, & let us know. I like the mounts without a gusset under them, but it may be necessary. Vibration's a b*tch.

x2 on the gusset. He's gonna hate those cheap lights too. May as well strap a mini mag light on her.

I know it's bad but can't afford a new one right now on a student/bartender salary. Has any one tried fabric spray paint? I might try that next.
Yes definatly want to know if that works, I know lkrchp and I where talking about if that would work. He says no but I'd love to see him proved wrong...lol sorry ed.

Nope! Sorry. I looked into it and tried it on a corner and it just beaded up. Since the roof is water resistant it doesn't absorb the paint. It would need to be a more porous area. Buuuut I found some other paint I might try next week.

Mounted my hi-lift jack on my brush guard today. Not sure if I'm going to leave it there or move it inside on the roll bars.

Looks cool, but it would disappear overnite in my world. I mounted mine just above the tailgate on the roll bars.

I was at the paint shop yesterday and he said Dupont Vinyl Dye. It's really paint with vinyl additive. You have to degrease the top and clean it good. It also goes on while the top is damp from washin and rinsing as he explained. Makes it poris i guess. O and he called the paint supplier and they said it was 140.00 a quart.

But now it shifts soooooo good I love her even more now lol oh and they also welded some part of my exhaust for free and it now rides really smooth and no more rattling sounds going on while on idle or driving
