Didn't do anything to it today( still waiting for my Bumper to come via UPS), but I did buy a welding cart, gloves, and a manual Impact driver so I can work on it easier

That's the longest sentence I've ever read on the forum. Made my head hurt.

swapped 90Amp alternator with 136Amp

I was driving home late night in my YJ and noticed a big pile of snow right by my house. "That would be a nice way to finish the day" I thought and started climbing on it. Somewhere half way on the wheels got in so deep so I couldn't move anywhere. "That's it! I'm stuck" I yelled smiling ear to ear. "Fuck you!" (pardon my French) said my YJ and got out of the hole. I could swear I saw him laughing his ass off. Bad YJ! Spoiled the perfect evening ... kidding It was fun.

I put in a new water pump and temperature sensor. After that I used RTV black and glued the lock widget into my passenger side door handle. The little lock springs are gone and I've been pondering how to fix this so we will see how it works. After that I use the old school string method to set the alignment on the front and after installing my lift kit.

Oh... That's the CJ that belongs to the guy that bent my tubes, he used his Jeep as a template for my fenders.

My Jeep, this is sad ,
is sitting in storage waiting for the weather to change so I can get her road worthy...

I noticed after I built my tire carrier and over tire rack that there was flex coming out of the frame where my bumper bolted on. My original plan yesterday was to build a reinforcement plate for the rear of the frame and take it all the way across the rear frame rail. The metal I was going to use for that turned out to be too thin for what I wanted so I took some 1/4" plate that I had and made backing plates for the bumper bolts to go inside the frame rail. Once I got them cut my mad scientist brain wasn't quite happy yet so I welded the bolts to the plates. Now instead of fighting with 8 individual bolts to hold the bumper on I have 4 stud brackets. Here are a few pics...

So far it looks and feels much more solid that before.

Looks good zombiechief! Much easier to get the nuts tight without having to work with both the nuts and bolts!
