I don't know what vehicle these were on. There was a school bus full of carbs. I just dove in and got lucky with the finds.
They are also referred to Autolites.
Cool thanks for the info.

Got my quick disconnects back from the machine shop, the nylon inserts were smaller than the mounting pins. Put them on last night and man it is so nice NOT to beat them on and off with a hammer!

Interesting side affect, no more front end squeek!

I love the Louvers. It is definitely one of the better mods Ive done. It keeps me much cooler on the trails when I'm slowly crawling through. And thanks, its a work in progress to say the least.

As for the LEDs. I'm adding a 20" soon to the hood and some LED pods. Illumination LEDs has the best deals on quality LEDs out there for anybody interested!

Also got bored of my door pulls so I made some out of some 5/8 nylon rope. And while iI was at it I got some new Smittybilt door straps, was missing one and got tired of the door hitting the mirror

Found the rope at Lowes to match my paint.... cut and taped the ends then took a scratch awl (basically a sharp pointy metal screwdriver) heated it up with a propane torch and just pressed it thru the rope ends, it melts right thru and makes a perfect hole. after that I just installed it with the existing door pull mounting hardware.

Thanks, I actually got the idea from another thread on here. I plan on making some grab handles too. I have a lot of short people who ride in my YJ and they are always struggling to climb in

UPS brought the rampage frameless top and the rampage h4 headlight conversion today. I havent opened the box with the top yet but I just installed the headlights and the damn those are some quality pieces. I had some mickey mouse ebay HID bulb and housing when I bought the rig and these buckets make the old housings look paper thin and flimsy in comparison. well worth the coin IMHO. will post pics later when I get the top stretched out in the sun.

I added door light switches. I broke the one on the driver's door so I went to one of the local bone yards where I know of a treasure trove of trinkets for my Jeep. I got switches for both doors instead of just the driver's side. I had to run a wire to the passenger's door since mine is the basest of base models and the wire wasn't even there. I got all fired up about it and decided to make a switch for the tailgate as well. Got em all wired in and all work great. I also changed out the vent grill on the cowl to a black one instead of color matched to the red.

Driver's door switch. Normally there would only be 2 wires here. I also have a cut-off switch for when I have the doors off and now the tailgate wire is fed from here as well.

Here's the passenger's door.

Tailgate switch.

Activation plate under the tailgate latch for the plunger.

Closed.

And the new grill.

The grill looks nice. I'm thinking of going to cowl induction myself. .

Cool. I may end up going with those. I have the Hella E-Codes and they're great quality, but I'm just not too sure I like them...

good and much worse

I failed emissions because I don't have a cat and my idle test was to high in the hydro carbons, so I had to put a cat in and since it was already at the shop I had them put in a cat back system from magnaflow it is only 450, but the bad news is my wife will not let me get my winch now. I hate emissions tests!!!!

I don't think I have to pass emissions, they don't do the snorkel on the exhaust anymore in NY. OBD2 and your screwed but OBD1 no worries
