Starter relay only activates the starter, there is a disconnected or loose wire somewhere between your ignition and coil pack.

I found my manifold leaking like a racehorse. Replaced gasket and it is SO much better now. A couple of the back bolts were not even tight.
Now here is my next issue. After a test ride, got home and now it will not shut off! What? I turn the key off, and it still runs. No, it's not dieseling. I suspect the starter relay. I bumped it with the exhaust pipe as I was removing the manifold. Got a few sparks. THEN I disconnected the battery. So after all the work, it started right up. But now will not turn off.

Suggestions? Starter relay?
I have your same luck. Fix one problem and it creates another!

Why do you have to replace a brand new ball joint?

I have had very good luck dealing with them for the last year. Bought some seat covers from Coverking that just did not cut it, sent them back with no problems at all and my money was returned before they got the covers back! Way to go Quadratec!

I started degreasing my engine, the PO didn't bother to fix the pcv or leaky valve cover so its got a good coating of oil......

Fun. New plugs, alt belt and general cleanup

Well after only about 4 hours in to my clutch(little by little each day for the past 2 days) I got the trans and out new clutch plates in and the trans back in. It will get finished today after I wake up. Write ups make it harder then it is. I didnt have to drain any fluids or remover the tc from the trans. And I didnt even have a trans jack just a normal one.

I also got myself a new muffler, seeing as Ive been running with out one for quite some time now. Cant wait to hear myself think again when Im driving.

Clay - No I didn't do the piolt bearing. Besides the clutch discs everything else was in awsome shape. My flywheel looked brand new the bearing to.

Jersey - I went with the walker muffler from autozone. The cheapest one they had. 40 bucks. I gutted the cat years ago and when my ujoint went a few months ago and turned my muffler to swiss cheese I just took it off. They new muffles and straight pipe (lol) gives it a faint dieseley sound, with it off my cute little 2.5 sounded like a real diesel untill you got on it real hard. Just happy I could hear myself think again.

Over the course of a few days I removed and replaced the Exhaust manifold, sandblasted and painted the intake manifold, replaced all the sensors that are used post-nutter, full tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and a few other minor things.

The best part is that I put the gaskets in wrong so now I get to take it all apart again! /sarcasm

I had a rattle/clunking noise coming from the front end of my 95 YJ, turned out to be the water pump bearing, so I replaced the water pump along with belt. Pretty simple fix, I was praying it wasn't something more serious. Used a thin spread of RTV with the cardboard gasket and its good as new, no leaks Now for the valve cover and oil pan gaskets.

I finally named my YJ today. I've owned some sort of vehicle for over 25 years and never named one. Had this YJ for three years and one finally came to me. This is Huey - you know - because it's hip to be.....

It's not a girls' name, but whatever.

Well it took two of us to do it but my driver's windshield hinge has been replaced! I can even say I was able to get the bottom bolts back on from under the dash - it's tricky but it can be done! Phew! I even hooked up my dash speakers again since I was already there.

The driver's seat swap was a bit of an issue...hopefully my husband can cut another two pieces of angle iron tomorrow & I'll be good to go! =)
