No man . Super easy to install . As far as hardware KC sells the windshield mounts that mount directly to windshield . And wiring was easy ran it under windshield gasket (doesn't leak) straight in behind dash to a new rocker switch. Looks sweet and works awesome on the trail . Love my jeep. My uncle convinced me to get one . I was gonna build a hot rod. But this hobby idea is much more useful. Ill attach a before pic of when I picked her up.

Thats about what my bumper and fender look like, slightly less though after fixing em. Truthfully if I got that and it ran, id slap some 31's under it and drive as is.

Not everything I do to my Jeep is a good thing.

On the bright side that does mean I get to order a proper lift kit.

I've been looking at a front and rear setup (with tire carrier) off eBay. I think the seller is eautogrille. Are you happy with the bumper?

Yeah it totally changed the look of the jeep. We did have to use the plasma cutter to open up the mounting holes because it was a little wide but it was nothing you can't do with a round file.

I'm looking for a rear bumper with the tire carrier as well and there are a few on eBay that have similar line like my front. I think it was $370.

Step 1: buy a Jeep
Step 2: take it wheelin'
Step 3: break something
Step 4: build it stronger
Just Empty Every Pocket along the way!

Replaced the valve cover and oil pan gaskets. Oil pan was leaking from the rear. I used the felpro one piece and it was simple. Ran it for a while and so far so good, no oil drip.

Are you sure it's not the rear main?

finally got my soft top on. frame wasn't as difficult to assemble as i thought it was going to be, pretty self explanatory.(bought with hard top and had never used a hardtop) question for anyone with a soft top though, what is the most practical in the summer? just folding the top down or removing it, do you remove all three windows before folding it down?

I remove all windows and take it completely off.

I loosen the soft top bow (speaking of a SuperTop), remove the 3 rear windows, unhook the top from the sides, then the front, then pull it off.

I take side Windows off roll them up and tuck them above rear wheel wells. then tuck each side rear sections up over rear and put rear roll window on top to hold in place then roll front tigtly around it . leave it on back . As it sucks to get cought in rain with out it .. you can't even see it but it all on board ..

Hey, these are all good ideas. I took my top off this past weekend just to see how to do it. It's much different from the older CJ's that I used to have (with the snaps). I tried leaving the windows in, but they will get kinked up if you try to fold/roll it all as one unit. Removing them first, then rolling back the top is a great idea. My Besttop even has straps for securing the rolled up top once it's down.
Thanks!

Found some lights in my garage. No idea where they came from but mounted and wired them up. Same with this fire extinguisher. No idea where it came from but figured it would hurt to have it, plus it makes me look legit lol

Ran it all day yesterday and today and so far no oil leak. Its my 95 with a 2.5l and I was hoping it wasn't the rear main seal. So far so good. As for the valve cover gasket, I'm not sure yet, it was leaking a bit from the rear and the new gasket seamed a bit to tight. I use a rubber gasket and it didn't seem to fit just right. I'm thinking about swapping it out with a cork gasket, we'll see.

New belt and I put the soft top back on so my son can ride in the jeep with me. With the bikini top on it was too windy for him.
