that bar slides into the softtop window and hangs off a few inches on either side to slide into those little metal retainers on the back tub

Thanks.
i have a bestop supertop. the frame has the sliding locks on the windshield frame(facing side of jeep) and the windshield has a retainer that you bolt on for the top to snap into. for my hardtop i have full metal doors but for my softtop i have half metal doors with zip up uppers. im liking it so far. if its not nice enough to take the whole top down, i can take whatever windows i choose out. only thing that sucks is the wind noise and how it jumps up and down on the highway(yes its tight as hell)

This morning I purchased the Smittybilt XRC front and rear bumpers with a Warn m8000-s winch. I cannot wait to get them in and test out the winch . . .

Looks real good. I did that to mine about 10 years ago and it is great. The black has faded a bit and I was thinking about painting it. Just need to find the right paint to apply...

Replaced oil pressure sensor. No longer spewing oil and my oil gauge works.

Also changed front differential fluid it. I think is black panther cologne off anchor man was real it would smell like that stuff.

And lastly replaced starter and alternator. Got a beefier alternator - from a 96 grand Cherokee 5.2L upgraded the power wire as well.

Had my 2-1/2" springs installed yesterday. Since my stock springs were completely flat, I ended up with about 4" more clearance than I had before. Pictures to come

Had to replace the starter relay, figured while the hood was up to fix that pesky little oil leak and changed out the valve cover gasket.

Now two questions - Oil pressure dropped slightly, just enough to see it on the gauge, normal? there was a leack, about a half quart every 3000 miles. And, now at idle, the volt meter shows the battery to only be getting about 10v instead ov just over 12. When I swapped out the starter relay, I also repaced the batter cable. The terminal the PO put on was a single wire terminal and the wire that goes to the relay kept coming loose. So I went to a double wire terminal. I did notice that the second wire seems to be only about 14 gauge vs the 10 gauge that was there - and is still there. Spliced the new lead to it.

They all crack where the pipes come together at the collector, tell them to weld it up and go on with it.

I got a used header from the YJ and welded it up and it lasted about a year, its really bad now so im gonna buy one of the new style headers with with the flexy bits that help reduce the risk of cracking
