Washed my Jeep. Under the hood and out! Also blew out all the dust and swept out dirt and what not inside the Jeep itself.

The day before yesterday was getting these Piaa fog lights working again, chasing wires ect.. added a new toggle switch and a fuseable link fixed that.

My jeep never came with a stereo so I Installed a new stereo CD unit last night to the old stock plug. That was another fun/chase tinker wires to see what speaker runs off what color combination.

It's never something easy, but the end results are always fun when you know it's done the right way, or how you perceive it.

Was working on my 1959 Buick LeSabre today, hoping to get her started and running on gas- but she didn't want to cooperate... So I pulled my YJ into the garage and FINALLY installed my new "upgraded" coil that I ordered a week ago...
Was by far the most difficult coil I've EVER changed.

than I ran to Lowes and picked up some plastidip to give her a little eyeliner.

Today I fixed the headlight dimmer switch rod follower, the turn signal lever, installed a new headlight dimmer switch on the bottom of the column.

I think I need a new horn though. But I will figure that out tomorrow or maybe Monday.

Going to rausch tomorrow for a two day overnight camping trip with a couple of buddies. One has an XJ and one has a JK. Neither of them keep up with me! I am so psyched I had to drink extra beer to go to sleep tonight. Wish me luck!

I knew that doing the rear main seal was going to be over my head mechanically. I know my temper and didnt want to end up putting a ding in the crank. So I decided to have it done. One local shop quoted me $750 to do it. I found a friend of a friend that has a shop, and has been building Jeeps for years, to do it he charged me $300 and had it done in less than three hours.

I got the same floor pan sitting in my garage. I think I'm gonna have to do the same and pay someone.

Took the doors off today for Memorial Day. A little windy and chilly but god I love driving doorless!

all they need is a grinder with a cut off disc(what i would use, clean and only have to cut once instead of cut then clean with grinder) and a decent welder with some skills, I weld and Fabricate for a living and i would charge MAYBE $100 to do that depending on how much prep and clean i had to do so dont pay too much

I had an awesome day with the YJ! A few buddies and I took her through some deep water and flooded roads and then found a little mud! They got a bunch of videos of me going through water that was probably around 30-33" deep because it'd come all the way over my tires in some places! Don't have the videos right now though they say their going to send them to me...

But a picture from the area where we went through the deepest water (but not IN the water, I was in the YJ the whole time) - you can see the flooded river in the background:
Attachment 254601

And then after going through some mud!
