This weekend:
Installed the MOLLE/PALS panel on the overhead
Pulled the carpet, prepped and painted the tub with spray on bedliner.
Used upholstery and carpet paint to spray the carpet (came out really good, if this lasts its a great way to recondition your carpet).
Prepped and painted the interior of the windshield frame (last part that need to be made black).
Put the carpet back in.

How did you mount this to the floor? I put the same console in recently so I'm curious to see what you did.

I have three questions. Are you from California brother? How do you like the MOLLE system of storage for your Jeep? And last what is that cross member over the front seats? Does it go with the MOLLE?

Thanks and WOW that is a smoking hot Jeep!

When I bought it off Ebay for $50 bucks, it came with it's own rear mounting bracket and I just aliened my console flush with the lip on the floor behind the gear shift. Then I opened her up, screwed in two screws in the back then I put the four screws through the floor. I'm thinking of taking out the front cup holders to add in another screw because I want this thing to be solid.

Take some pictures of it man and post'em up!

Oh nice! That's a good idea with the wood bracket. That's a nice looking jeep. I bet she looks better on the outside!

Thanks for snapping them pics for us

The cup holders were a problem for me so I put two cheap plastic ones together and cut off the door hook with a dremel.

(with my replacement seats) They fit perfectly and extended the depth of the cup holders enough for me without my 16oz coffee tipping on a turn.

That's a pretty good idea. I'll have to consider it for mine also. Question: Is your Jeep a 5 speed?

Yes, and the higher cup holder on the driver side seems to be in the way with a tall cup in it.

Have you seen those cup holders that bolt right above the speakers in the dash?

Gave her a quick spay off to get some mud off, just so I could see out windows. Changed the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Changed the fuel filter and air filter. Also gave her some fuel injector cleaner to see if that will help with my rough idle. Oil change and tire rotation is up on my list of to do's for tomorrow.

x2 on the dash mount cup holders. while they will shake a pop flat in a matter of a mile or 2 the bottled juices and such ride quite well in them. if you get a coffee make sure that you get it in a size bigger cup.. 16 oz drink in a 20 oz cup..... they will spill with a quickness if to full. i have had mine now for a couple months and love them.

Finally got around to do some interior work I've been wanting to do. Painted my dash two toned (black/burnt orange) and herculined the tub. Also herculined my step bars and fender flares. Love the way it turned out.

Looks real good! I painted my dash inserts a while ago the same color as the car. You got me wanting to paint the whole dash now!

Thanks!! My interior was spice color and I'm slowly changing it all out to black. Only things left to change are my sun visors and seats. Which I only need to throw a cover on the back seats. Thinking about removing the sun visors all together as I don't use them except to clip my sunglasses on.

Ugh!!!! The redneck is coming out of me! I'm soooooooo mad that my push bar is being difficult! This thing wont fit over my winch plate so I have to customize it meaning, drill holes and cut stuff.

Well on a better note, my rear seat should be coming UPS today so I'm excited for that! I installed a few fog lights. Look so sweet!

I've had these lights since Christmas and jut now got around to putting them on today. Didn't get to wiring them up before the storm came. I haven't seen a jeep with lights mounted where I put mine.. What can I say, I like to be different. I'm also debating painting her OD Green.

I took the dash apart the only thing I couldn't figure out was how to get the piece were the glove box was. So I just taped up around that part with trash bags and painted that piece in the jeep. I used body paint for the orange. I sprayed plastic adhesive spray down first which is suppose to help the paint stick to the plastic (can't remember the exact name of it but I got it at the paint store). Hopefully it holds up well but I did everything the guy at the auto paint store told me to do.

Got my winch installed yesterday. It's a cheap one from tractor supply didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on something i won't get to use as often as I like to. Mounted it to my stock bumper. In aug I am going to jeep week in ocean city. Planning on flat towing the jeep any ideas on how I can mount d rings to my bumper or maybe the front of the frame?

I used some 2" angle iron and bolted it to the bumper, drilled the holes and did it that way. Here is a shot of one side of my old bumper with the brackets, do a pair on each side and your set, well at least for my tow bar. Then I use a removeable pin to lock it together, works great.

Now with my new bumper I had a plate added on the back side, welded the plate to the bumper and the nuts to the plate so I can remove the brackets anytime I want.
