Yeah I was too. This is molded perfectly for the YJ. Hugs all the curves perfect. And since it is fiberglass you can make cheap repairs. It also comes with a template to drill all the holes. It is solid as hell. The only reason it broke is because I really nailed it twice. Tight spaces and I am still not used to watching out for a snorkel yet.

Does it have the under hood piping? I'm thinking I know what my next mod will be.

No that you have to do yourself. Move your wiper fluid reservoir since that is where it comes through, and then run it to your airbox with 3" hose. I used epoxy to seek up my airbox and then ran the house into a hole I cut in the side of it.

Replacing my shocks was the first repair I ever did on my own. My husband was there to walk me through it and lend some extra muscle and a sawzall to get two rusted bolts off when I needed it. Good luck with it!

It's going to feel like a new truck when you get done! Mine was like night and day with just the front changed while I tried to find the size for the rear.

Took my dash apart, painted it. And decided while I had it in pieces I'd try to figure out why none of my gauges worked. Welp, of I didn't know it before, I definitely know it now. The previous owner was a total DIP S***.. The speedometer was just unplugged, and he had two fuses "jumped" together that were both blown. The ignition fuse, and the fan fuse were jumped together. Took those out, replaced them and everything works just fine.

Oh I also installed a new lock box. Bought a tool box from auto zone, bolted it to the floor. Good to go now. Can't steal my stuff anymore.

You could also mount it across the 2 rear wheels inside the cab behind the rear seat. You would need to take out the plastic inserts for the wheel wells to bolt them in, but a great place to install them.

Yeah that storm is pretty nasty.

Side note: I bought these new fog lights and installed them. The wires are hot but only one light works. I hope it's only the bulb but the damn thing is new! Ugh..

New Gear Shifter and "Black Eyes"

Here are a couple of easy, cheap mods I made this weekend. This costs me $8 at Lowe's for the spray liner. These were my first mods, but I can't wait to do more!

Five about 20 miles today down the highest in a storm with no doors but my soft top on. Was actually nice, and I hardly got wet. They forcast nice weather so I got stuck that far away when they were wrong.
