I mounted a lock box behind my shifter so I don't think I will have enough clearance there. But I will see if I can remove the ash tray to see if it will fit. Thanks

Look into a Tuffy overhead panel. It's a little fancy but would be easy to make for some what cheaper then Tuffy. Here I'll post a link to one for CB's.

I was thinking of finding a steel plate or something and mounting from windshield to soundbar. Might be my only option in mounting it.

I screwed mine in directly under the steering column. I have my mic mounted over the 4X4 light so the wire is over top of the column and out of the way. Makes the controls and dial easy to use too.

Sadly, I did not get to me steering gear today... Had to "tow" a buddy to the highway and then we worked on his car for a few hours out on a gravel road (just off the highway - pretty sure chain towing isn't legal in Iowa) and got it running so he could get home...

Needless to say, after that I just felt like going home and chillin with my dog...

Well I have done a bunch of stuff to my jeep this week including, removing track and sway bars (rides like butter now). Also replaced my front shackles. For the threads title I installed my 10" Rigid industries light bar today. This thing is bright as hell, I can't imagine a 50"er. Lights on lights off...

Finished installing Revolver Shackles front and rear and finally flipped the rear upper shackle bolts so the nut is the gas tank side.

I finally started building the tube fenders for the back of my rig yesterday. HOPEFULLY I'll be able to get them skinned and painted today. I used 3/4" gas pipe, a pipe bender and my MIG welder. I found some bolts and welded them into the ends of the 4 mount points with a lock washer and nut on the inside of the fender wells. I'll get more pics as they progress to finished.

Took the top and doors off and put the bikini top on. I love the hot weather.
Any one know where to get headers for the 4-2? What kind do you have? Going to have to replace the exhaust and muffler here soo and may as well go with headers.

Well, I got the fenders skinned but I ran out of welding wire so they're not finished yet. I'll get em tidy'd up a bit this week if I have time.

looks like you have to trim the body alot on the rear of the wheelwell. also is the top of the flare lower that the top of the wheel well?

Went searching for the reason why it was running so badly. After a compression check here was the results 1)123 psi 2)35 psi 3)120 psi 4)121 psi. Diognosis: Broken piston rod on #2. Time to decide to replace or beef up to 4.0.
