Cleaned up the floor pan

Took a wire wheel to the floor boards and coated them with Por-15.

That is still a possibility, i just assumed it was the rod because of all the clanging and slapping around I heard. I have yet to find the time to tear it down and find out for sure. Thanks for your input.

As of today I officially own a house with a detached Jeep House! It came with a 80 Gallon compressor, air lines all along the walls, and a lift! Also has steel I beams through the ceiling which will assist with my engine swap. Today is the best day of my Jeeps life.

The wife knew all of her arguments were invalid the second I walked into the garage. The house is nice too, but who cares. My 7 month old son, the dog, and I will happily live in the garage. Up until now I either drove 30 minutes to my inlaws to work on my Jeep, or did everything on the side of my street in the city.

Haha! My husband bought our house based on the garage alone! 2 stories, 2 cars so not quite what you have there but he's happy.

Nice find.

Today I drove my bike and let my sister take the YJ so she can enjoy the nice weather.

Have a few to-dos and figured it was easier to just remove the body. It's killing me not to drive it, but it will be worth it.

I'm so glad I have a girl that understands. If the garage isn't big enough for toys, the house is unlivable

after 4 months of having my offroad LED bar and cubes mounted... i finally found the time to wire them up. wow these things are bright! i might get 2 more cubes and mount them on the front bumper but i think these will do for now. 20" double stacked LED bar with one 3" cube on each side of the windshield (4 LED's each)

Added LED pods on the windshield and built a bikini top support so water no longer pools when it rains.

Pods cost me $143 shipped from illumination LEDs

Bikini top support cost me $12 from home depot and took about half an hour to build and put together.

Having emissions done as I type. I had a good chuckle when the tech had to come ask me where the gas cap was.

After trying to convince myself for 5 months that 33's worked fine with stock 4:10 gears and a 2.5 4 banger, I finally faced reality and went back to 31's. I forgot how much better it drives, flexes, and gets up to speed on the highway. To each his own, but to me 33's are just too much tire for a stock 2.5 5 speed.

Got new tires installed today and finally disconnected both track bars and the sway bar. This Jeep finally has a little flex in it. And a much smoother ride.

Also did a coolant flush and replaced distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Trying to get this to pass CA smog.
