Which one did you go with? I have the 2" BDS and really like it. Actually got 3 1/2" out of it.

Almost finished with my farm jack mount. Used the one some made here for reference. Still need to paint it, get proper bushings, find 1/2 in wing nuts, and cut down the bolts.

I'd rather turn the top bar the other way and you can use it as a light bar with top covering the lights. check out the one I made.

Today I found out that my yj has a shackle lift. The springs may be taller than stock but they are old and sagging unfortunately. There are no shocks in the back, which makes me think it is just a shackle lift. Sometime soon I'm going to get new springs and shocks.

I also rigged my camelbac onto the driver seat. Hands free water!

Wow, that is definitely a big ol shackle lift (and looks home made), and the factory leafs, which very well may be sagging.. You should still have shocks in the rear, even with a shackle lift. The Camelbac sounds like a neat idea

It would appear you are right. I had to crawl under and move some mud but i found my rear shocks. My buddy has a yj and he found out the po sold it to him with no rear shocks. Neither of us found anything about it so we didn't really think much of it. I'm fairly new to jeeps so I never know what to expect, haha

Is that a home made body lift on there too?

I don't really know. What should I be looking for? This is how I got it from the PO so I don't really know much about what he did, haha

Almost looks like a spacer made out of box steel where the arrow is pointing. Also, the gap between the frame and the body inside that square is not normal, may just be cut, but I think you have a body lift. You would need to take a pic of the side of your Jeep with the camera at the height of the frame to tell for sure.

I drove mine without something breaking. Also replaced the exhaust. No more toxic fumes leaking into the cabin of the Jeep. I was starting to get dizzy when I drove.

Enjoy. Though the one thing I found very inconvenient is that you will be hitting that jack with the side mirrors if they're mounted on the doors every time you open wide. I ended up buying one from Denzus with 6000lum LED light fixture and that one pushes it forward far enough to avoid that.

Those pics are all the front. You need a pic of the entire side of your jeep at frame height

Nice! I love the look of your Jeep by the way I'll have to check that lift out. I ordered a RC 4" lift. I currently only have 2" shackles lifting my WHOLE Jeep with 95% stock suspension. I'm hoping for 5 1/2 to maybe 6". I doubt I can get 6 out of it so I'll look into a 1" RC body lift.

Thank you! When I got my YJ it was totally stock except for the 31's on it and it has been a work in progress ever since. It is a blast for sure!

And I really like the looks of your Jeep! Especially the white top!

Installed a new water pump after sitting for 2 weeks. Took that look because bolt head broke off and I had to have someone weld a nut on.

Replaced the valve cover gasket. Not a bad job but moving stuff around for the cover to come out want fun.
