Looks good, but why wouldn't you just paint the bumper instead of using platidip? Just asking not criticizing. Thanks

Had a few extra cans laying around and the only paint I had was gloss black. Wouldn't go with the theme

Exactly lol

Today I did a full tune up. Cap, rotor, coil, plugs, wires, air filter, took the valve cover off and gave it a good scrubbing. It's actually silver...

Finally got my Wild Country 32x11.5R15's put on tonite. Used Airsoft BB's to balance them. Seems to be working great so far.

Took it up to a park with trails in it for some mild riding. I didn't want to do anything too serious since I was alone.

Where I live that means you should grab your ankles.

This is actually why I am trying to figure out a way to make my flares removable, so I can have them most of the time, but take them off when I will be hitting the trails.

Decided to tackle the seriously neglected (by previous owner) polished wheels on the jeep today. Done my polishing method on them for the lips and painted the centers with hammered black. They have chrome caps and lugs but forgot to get that pic.

Used the 'new yj owners' thread to change the oil, filters, flush the radiator, and replace the thermostat. Then I replaced a bushing on the bottom of my rancho 9000 shock, and bolted in the back seat and belts. Purrs like a kitten. Only problem now is that the clutch squeaks like a mouse when being depressed and released. Hoping it needs lube and not the TOB.

I agree, not sure that I would gone with 10" wide. 8 should have been plenty.

yeah they probably would of looked better with the 8" but my cousin needed tires for his jeep for the hunting season coming up and he had the 10" wide rims laying around so i just swapped him and i bought new tires since i was getting a lift.

That's kinda what I was thinking or a set of mud flaps that go in the receiver hitch or something like that, I asked a few of my cop/trooper friends and they said must cops are happy if the amount of rocks and stuff going back into the car behind you is kept to a minimum...

New Switch Bank

I just installed my custom switch panel which acts as a radio delete for the dash board. Has a cigarette lighter and ten chrome switches with red LED's that light up when the switch is closed.

I moved my stereo to a Tuffy Lock It Up center console a while back and had this gaping hole in the dash. Now I just need to buy some more lights for the exterior so I have a reason for all these switches. Currently I only have front bumper lights, so only one switch is controlling something.

The PO had hacked out the radio hole on the plastic dash, that isn't my handy-work!

I like the wheels and tires the way they are. I have new Eagle Alloy wheels like that, and I can't imagine painting them black. Yikes!!! You can buy soft 8's or steelies or whatever and sell those beautiful polished wheels.......Just mho.

Not a fan of that switch style but I like the panel and execution. Very nice and clean looking. Great idea and nice work!
