finally got around to installing a christmas present.

Rugged Ridge license plate and light mount for spare tire.

4" LED cube light

light isnt wired yet, i'll probably do that this weekend. i have a long enough wire harness to reach the engine bay. but im also going to run a short wire feed with waterproof quick disconnects so its easy to connect and disconnect when i need the spare.

No "contact us" from what I see on Mopar.com. I tried some of the other links, did you go to Jeep.com after and "contact us"?

I put a log chain on my rear bumper,.. Then I attached the other end to a front bumper on a Toyota Tacoma, I then pulled my friend who had broke down in his Toyota to his fathers

Supposed to warm up a bit this weekend so I'm going to the car wash and rinse off all the salt an crap, change the oil, and if I can find a 195f thermostat, I'll change it out. I think I've got a 165f in there. Engine temp never gets above 170f, even in the warm weather.

Well, last night I put the jeep on the lift at work and changed the clutch. All I have left to do today after work is put the shifters back in. Every time i have pulled a tranny I have always wished I had an extra pair of hands, well last night was no different. Ok maybe tonight have it is all back together i will have a beer or 2.

After buying it ('89 YJ) a few weeks ago, and accumulating most parts to make it drivable, I once again looked at it sitting in my ice cold garage waiting for it to warm up…..even just a little so I can go out and play on it!!! &$*#@$ winter!!!

Oh well, at least I have a good wife, & plenty of beer to keep me occupied.

Got my build sheet from jeep and had a question:
TPLA P205/60R16 BSW All Season Tires
WJKS 15X6.0 Styled Steel Wheels
How can it show to have a 15" wheel and R16 tire???? I am thinking it is a typo.

Replaced my ignition switch, New battery, New battery cables, cleaned up all openly visible connections, tuned the carb and adjusted the ignition timing. Tried to hunt down my ever illusive coolant leak (only a small spot under her after sitting for months but still makes me weary), but the past two days of driving her everywhere ive yet to see any trace of a leak what-so-ever...

Also went to the performance shop and they are going to call me and let me know when I can come in with the YJ and watch/help with the installation of my 4:11s and lockers in both axles.

Was a pretty productive Jeep Day for it being under 30 out while I worked on her.

Are you gearing/locking the stock D35 rear?

Today I got my carb parts in the mail and put it back on the Jeep. Then while cranking it over I think I lost the ignition switch. The wire that is supposed to be hot when the key is on is not, and I did not blow a fuse.

Yeah. I NEVER plan on going any higher than 33s and I dont wheel hard...
I should also mention they're strengthening the axles a bit as well. Using kits with no shims either.

After getting My wife a 90 yj and working on it bumper to bumper for almost 2 years, You think I would have learned My lesson.I always said "I was the smartest kid in the dumbest row" Last week I bought an 88 yj.6cyl 5spd. Only mod is 31's on American racing rims. (And a great stereo, amp and sound bar).No rust, straight body and rustfree frame (not too common on Long Island)
Runs and shifts fine, new bestop.I guess I never wanted to admitt I understand about it being a "Jeep Thing"

Broke off and flew across the street while I was going about 25. Was loud as hell too. Fortunately it was just a broken center yoke. Replacement part is on the way.

Finally completed a 2 week project on my 93 YJ. Upgraded the gears to 3.73, installed a SOA conversion, installed a SYE kit with CV shaft, installed new turn signal switch and a few other odds things needing fixed.

That is part of a spicer driveshaft. Same thing most people run without problems, I just like to beat on mine more that others. Only cost me $70 for the part to fix it, it will get an upgrade when I tear my jeep completely apart again. Will be going with a non cv 1350 shaft and a rear stretch.
