Front drive shaft broke off at transfer case. Broke fuel line, beat the hell outvof the floor, busted transfer case all to pieces. Am in the process of looking for another one now.

Winched out 4 20' long, 2' thick square beams out of my friends yard. They were half buried. Then dragged them up the hill in the Jeep. First time I had it in 4wd since I owned it and was quite surprised how well it did.

Got back home and after chasing down a minor coolant leak last week, I can safely say NOTHING is dripping anymore with just shy of 200,000 miles. My friends house is about 40 miles round trip.

What i did to my YJ today: Took the Bimini top off and put the full soft top back on. It's supposed to rain tomorrow morning.

Cant arrive at the office looking like a drowned rat ya know.

Friday night my son and I were out hiking and got caught out with just the Bimini top. Which is normally fine, except the wind got so high I needed windshield wipers on the inside!!

Built and painted a trailer hitch rack, took the top and doors off, found some mirrors from an old Chevy one ton laying around the shop and bolted them right to the door hinges.

Sorry guys, I'll back up from the jeep in the next photos, but blackedout is right, jerry cans. Those things are a sort of a pita, have to wedge a couple of towels between them and the rubbers on the tailgate so they don't bang up against them every time I hit a bump.

I started out the day bleeding break lines and ended up having to replace a break caliper because the blender valve wouldn't come out, so I ended up getting a new caliper from NAPA for like 30 bucks so it wasnt a bad day

Removed the fender flares and running board/steps .... replacing with TJ flares and opening up the wells a bit for more flex room. Also adding black diamondplate to the rockers to cover up the holes left from the steps. Pics coming when it's done....
Also got extended brake lines on order... so much to do, so little time... gotta go wheelin' soon!

Sand Blasted, striped and Painted Wheels

Worked at the end of last week to paint my wheels. 3 Rattle Cans including high build primer and a 30 Dollar sand blaster from HF with Walnut media. 4 hours and new wheels. This is the spare, the only pic I have, and also the worst turn out of all the wheels. Sigh.

They still look better.

I have a set of these wheels laying around. Came with my YJ when I bought it as extras. Have 4 of them. And the upgraded wheels also have 6 of them
