Looks good..... Like the sound bar was purchased that way.... Im on the fence... Im working on my hard doors this weekend.... I may put my extra set of JBL 6.5" in my doors. I gotta sleep on it first.... But think I will wait until I finish priming and painting them.... No hurry fall is quite a ways off.

Raptor liner is the hot trend these days. unfortunately for me, my 93's PO was in the era of herculiner (which isn't terrible) and now I am finally getting to redo it. herculiner sticks to herculiner so that's what I'm going with. prep today and if there's enough time left first coat but in reality, probably prep today and roll out tomorrow so pics to come... 5 days off (after an already long weekend) just to work on my Jeep... i love my life!

(yesterday) Did some maintenance, PO was the last to change the spark plugs, I wish I would have checked sooner. Found this guy in cyl 3. This is why it's important to gap your plugs mmkay.

Removed front traction bar (rear has been off for a week). No drama, rides better.

Also trimmed the door so my M4 mount will fit.

Getting ready for the Wild Side Ride in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana in 2 weeks. Non-stop rain the last few days is limiting what I can get done. Really need to clean out the garage.

Herculined!

Finally after 2-3 days of prep I got the first coat of bedliner laid down (Herculiner). While I was at it, i painted the seat brackets and soft top rails. I knew it was gonna be a long process but wow! Loved every minute of it and it's a good thing I did because second coat goes down tomorrow morning bright and early. I also painted my inner door panels which came out looking really nice.

Put the spare tire carrier and spare tire back on. SWMBO was tired of tripping over them in the garage. Happy wife, happy life!

Go for it man! i just took a few days off so I'm tackling lots of stuff but the big one was the berliner which is a huge job in itself once you calculate pulling everything out and restoring all of it too like the seats. Today I rolled out the second coat and man does it look great! i figured why it's curing, might as well knock out some other stuff underneath so I changed the fuel filter and well, the fuel filter skid plate had seen it's better days so i wire wheeled it, primed it and will rattle can it tractor yellow! thinking about changing the diff fluid but that might wait til tomorrow along with putting the jeep back together. tomorrow.

Man, what happened to this thread? It used to be really active and now it's gone to poop! Let's get "What you did to your YJ today" back in the groove... post some comments, pics, whatever you did that day to your Jeep, it gives us all ideas and a reality check that we aren't the only ones on this journey...

I like your attitude! This week will be a big project week for the yj so hopefully lots of pics!

Today I moved my fog lights, installed hooks, and a Bimini combo from quadratec.

I spent all weekend under my jeep with a wire wheel. I was caked with oil, grime, grease and rust.... Did find 1 bad spot near the rear passanger side shackle that will eventually be fixed.

I need to do this. I have some serious floor rot in the driver side foot well. This week I plan to patch all the holes up that I can find.

The PO called 4 months after buying the Jeep

He found the Bikini top, Rear seat "Tonneou Cover" and the bars to tow the Jeep with. I wanted the Tow Bar cause the wife and I usually drive 300 miles every 4th of July and we take her Durango for all the camping stuff we bring.....now I can use the Jeep as a trailer to haul the camping stuff and bring my toy along and explore some trails!

So I bought new front bestop seats (TRAIL MAX II, I believe) for my 93 and when I mounted them, not only are they too high and too close (got use to that already), the driver side is not even center on the steering wheel... way off center (pics below). I don't want to mount my new center console yet until I figure this out or it will be off center too and need to be remounted once I reposition the seat(s). Has anyone ever run into this problem? If so, what was the end result; what did you do to fix it? Thanks! Ok, so apparently I have to delete some photos before I can post any more but I want to get this out there now and will post photos once I figure that out. It looks like 2-3 inches off center... hmmmm

Changed the fluids in the 5spd and the transfer case. Looked like they could have been the original fluids.

Well, not 'today' actually, been kinda on-going ... but I finally got my new fender flares installed and added a 4" trim of black diamond-plate to the rocker. Under the trim is a a full length 2x2 steel corner to help as a rock-slider and lift point for the high lift if needed. Carpet is coming out soon and bed liner for the inside is the next project.
