Spent time with the wife going over some of the things I wanna do to my brand new '88. The more involved she is from the start, the more chance I might get this rig done right.

So the heavy lifting has commenced....

Lol. Yeah my wife was all about it too. Then I started spending a lot of money and she hates the damn thing now. My defense is though I bought her a new car that cost 5X the jeep. So if you want some room on purchase for your jeep buy her something nice and hold it over her head.

Got the Supertop NX installed. It was a breeze since it used to have a soft top and all the holes were there. I'll get pics when it stretches and smooths out.

I do not know to much about "rock Crawling" but I picked up an auto cause i was tired of driving stick. And when i drove my buddies Stick in the snow lets just say felt like tokyo drift. Auto grabs grip easier so it seemed with mine.

I have a 93' yj with stock shocks and a 2" shackle lift. Thats how it was when i bought it. The ride was so stiff it would loosen your teeth. I did'nt want to spend alot of $$$ so i changed out the shocks. I put on skyjacker 8000's , they went on easy after beating out the old, rusted bolts. It's like night and day , it rides like it should , with some give !

A set of sway bar disconnects would make you think it's a different vehicle if you're not looking for an upgraded suspension. I put a set on my '94 and even with slick 215's on it the difference was amazing.

Not really. It was the plastic one on the door panel. The plastic just got weak over the years.
