Looks like a family roll cage too, '92-'95 style. Somebody may have done some upgrading to your '90.

Talking What I did today

Ok, first post - long time reader...

I have a 1988 Jeep YJ Laredo... Its a rust busket - but its MY rust bucket, and Im in love with it lol - with that being said... this is what i did today

Very productive morning, my CJ mirrors came in from EBay and I mounted those up on the windshield hinge so now this spring/summer I can take my doors off and still have Mirrors -=)

I also went to the Local Pick-n-Pull and got me some carpeting, and installed 80% of that... I also managed to swipe some Tail-Light guards and mannaged to install those and replaced the bulbs while I had them apart... I also managed to get some new lift cylinders for my tailgate window... it was missing a bracket and only one cylinder - I managed to get the new bracket and cylinders... Now my rear glass FINALLY stays up without having to use ViseGrips!!! lol

Carpet, cylinders and hardware with Tail-light guards - $18.50
CJ-7 Mirrors - Ebay - 40$ with shipping

OH!!! yeah, and the snow started coming down bad here in detroit, I watched a guy in a Saturn drift right off in a culvert on MetroParkway... So i did my FIRST JEEP recovery today and pulled him out of the Culvert!

I LOVE MY WRANGLER!!!! -=)

Lights should be an easy fix. What's up with the exhaust?

I'll need a new front Drive shaft, transfer case, clutch/brake/fuel lines and bellhousing just from looking at it on the side of the road.

the PO put them on...according to him they were "custom" done by his "buddy". he told me they were steel?

they're pretty mean looking, I can post a better pic later, but whatever coating he did it's all flaking off and rusting. I'm going to sand and re coat the front flares and either replace or paint the rear (stock plastic).

Was thinking about taking the day to drive the yj up to Poughkeepsie to see the Rise Against concert...decided against it and was teased by over 10 wranglers on the way over

I was looking at all my options and I can find a lot of Dana 300s and I've got a line on a AX15 Does anyone run that set up in their YJ? If so can you offer any advice you have?
