I rubberized the inside of the hood, the entire engine compartment minus the firewall, all four wheel wells, nerf bars, and the undercarriage. Really quiet now at idle...then I step on the gas and the headers straight to the flowmaster exhaust make things a bit more noisy...oh and the swampers howl haha

Took off the trac bars today and did the Nutter bypass. I was going for the Motorcraft swap and turns out I need a different adapter. Good thing I did the Nutter bypass too. The distributor clamp was already loose.

Next on the list will be the new ignition upgrade.

Do the team rush mod. It works wonders. I'm running a 60,000 volt coil on Corvette wires. Works beautifully

Did it yesterday, finished my wagoneer spring swap. Much smoother ride, looking forward to new shocks eventually

I worked on my jeep all day and got now where... Turns out throwing a 4cly tub on a 6cyl engine isn't as easy as it sounds...

Shouldn't be much of an issue. I do not think there is any difference.

Almost forgot, all seals (crank, transmission, t-case) are new as well.

Took soft top off for the first time today to see where the rain was coming in from. Turns out the clip edge on top of the windshield has three screws in the center that are not holding any more. Need to get some bigger sheet metal screws and decide what type of sealant I want to put under the clip edge to help seal it from water. Other than that i found that I am leaking oil from another spot now that I got the VC gasket changed out. Looks like it is near either where the distributor is or where the outake for the oil filter connects to the block. Lost to much light by the time I got home so I will have to check it out more tomorrow.
